TrakCare PHC International Evidence
This page tracks public evidence for TrakCare in primary healthcare, community health, or closely adjacent public-health settings outside the UK.
Boundary
This page is limited to PHC/community-care evidence. General country presence, hospital-only EHR deployment, and market-ranking references are not proof of a primary-healthcare implementation.
PHC Setting-Specific Reading
Use this section when the question is about whether TrakCare appears in a primary-healthcare or community-care setting, rather than whether InterSystems is present in a country.
| PHC / community setting | Strongest examples | What the wiki can safely say | Boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Community-health or primary-health provider operations | Gateway Health, Nexus Primary Health, and Victoria community health. | Public evidence supports TrakCare in Australian community-health and primary-health provider settings: Gateway has a current community solution configured for Australian community health services; Nexus Primary Health used TrakCare as its healthcare information system and moved it to an InterSystems cloud managed service; Victoria has historical agency-wide community-health evidence plus contemporary sector evidence. | Gateway still needs a formal customer publication for the 2026 go-live; Nexus and the Victoria case study are historical unless current provider/government status is found; VHA is sector evidence, not a government system inventory. |
| Primary-care / APS referral and interconsultation workflow | Chile SSMS / El Bosque APS and San Bernardo. | Official SSMS and municipal material support TrakCare relevance to APS-origin referrals, reference/contrareference, Interconsultas, and Rayen-to-TrakCare / TrakCare-SIDRA referral workflows in Chile. | This is strong workflow evidence, but it is not a Chile-wide APS deployment claim, not a current named El Bosque APS live-state proof, and not a complete APS site-by-site inventory. |
| PHC-centre / outpatient-care network | DHAMAN. | Trade and press-release evidence reports DHAMAN's TrakCare EMR deployment beginning with primary healthcare centres and later outpatient-care HIMSS O-EMRAM validation; DHAMAN's current site separately bounds the PHC/hospital network scale. | The current DHAMAN primary site found so far does not name TrakCare, so current live TrakCare scope needs a DHAMAN primary page or implementation record. |
| Remote or public-health infrastructure reaching community settings | Northern Territory Acacia. | Official NT evidence supports TrakCare-based public-health infrastructure spanning hospitals and remote/community care, including remote clinics and remote-community continuity of care. | Acacia is remote/community-care adjacent and public-health infrastructure evidence, not a standalone TrakCare PHC module claim. |
| Historical primary-health clinic pharmacy workflow | Qatar primary-healthcare clinics. | A 2009 academic source supports historical TrakCare use by pharmacists in four Qatar primary-healthcare clinics. | Current PHCC public material found in prior passes does not support a present Qatar TrakCare PHCC claim. |
Chile / SSMS and El Bosque APS
The wiki supports a direct but bounded Chile claim: official Servicio de Salud Metropolitano Sur (SSMS) evidence says TrakCare was implemented in the El Bosque APS primary-care network and that the SSMS reference/contrareference workflow used the TrakCare Interconsultas module for primary-care doctors.
Current and adjacent public evidence strengthens the SSMS operating-context reading. SSMS 2022-2025 network-design and 2024 GES referral material continue to reference TrakCare in APS / referral-management workflows; the SSMS 2024 public account lists TrakCare/Rayen integration as a 2025-2026 digital-strategy item; Hospital El Pino official pages describe operational TrakCare updates and InterSystems as the electronic clinical-record platform provider; a 2025 Mercado Publico award for Hospital Barros Luco Trudeau names hospitalised clinical-record work using TrakCare from InterSystems; and San Bernardo's 2025 municipal health plan describes Rayen-to-TrakCare / TrakCare-SIDRA referral integration in APS workflows.
This supports TrakCare relevance in Chilean SSMS APS / referral workflows and in current SSMS-network hospital clinical-record contexts. It does not prove a Chile-wide TrakCare deployment, a current named El Bosque APS live state, a direct InterSystems award for the Barros Luco support contract, or a complete current APS site-by-site scope. The 2026-06-29 pass did not find a current El Bosque municipal page naming TrakCare in the first public search.
The 2026-06-30 procurement pass found direct Chile public-sector procurement evidence for InterSystems Chile. Mercado Publico purchase orders show Servicio de Salud Chiloe buying INTERSYSTEMS TRAKCARE ENTERPRISE CHILE EDITION TIER III SaaS from INTERSYSTEMS CHILE LIMITADA, and Hospital de Copiapo / Servicio de Salud Atacama buying HIS electronic clinical-record software subscription from the same supplier. A Transparentin mirror of ChileCompra data reports a 2026 SSMS direct award to INTERSYSTEMS CHILE LIMITADA for secondary/tertiary electronic clinical-record software licensing, but the official Mercado Publico detail link still needs validation before relying on full contract terms.
Australia / Gateway Health TrakCare
The wiki supports a direct but bounded Gateway Health claim: InterSystems Australia says Gateway Health went live with a TrakCare community solution configured for Australian community health services, Gateway Health's annual report records TrakCare use through My Health Record integration, a TrakCare upgrade, and staff training, and Gateway Health's CEO publicly described the InterSystems project as successful implementation of a new clinical information system shaped around community health service needs.
This supports current TrakCare use in an Australian regional community-health setting. It does not yet provide a formal Gateway Health publication for the 2026 named community-solution go-live, site-by-site implementation scope, or independently evaluated outcomes.
Australia / Victoria TrakCare Community Health
The wiki supports a sector-level Victoria community-health claim: a historical InterSystems case study says the Victorian Department of Human Services selected TrakCare in community configuration for 22 community health agencies, a 2019 InterSystems / Healthcare IT News trail says Nexus Primary Health used TrakCare as its healthcare information system in a community healthcare / primary health provider setting, and a later Victorian Healthcare Association paper says the majority of registered community health services in Victoria use TrakCare as a client-management system.
This supports historical programme evidence, provider-level primary-health/community-health evidence, and contemporary sector evidence for TrakCare in Victorian community-health services. It should not be treated as a current Victorian Government system inventory, a provider-by-provider deployment list, or proof of implementation scope at every individual service.
Kuwait / DHAMAN TrakCare
The wiki supports a moderate DHAMAN claim: trade and press-release evidence reports DHAMAN's TrakCare EMR agreement beginning with primary healthcare centres before extension to additional centres and hospitals, and later describes HIMSS O-EMRAM Stage 6 validation using InterSystems TrakCare in an outpatient-care context. DHAMAN's current corporate site separately describes a current network of 15 primary healthcare centers and 3 hospitals.
This supports TrakCare relevance to DHAMAN primary-healthcare-centre, outpatient-care, and hospital-network context. It does not yet provide a current DHAMAN primary page naming TrakCare, so current live TrakCare scope should be bounded by the TrakCare-specific trade/press sources and the separate DHAMAN network-scope source.
Evidence Map
Rows are ordered by directness and strength of PHC/community-health support, not by country.
| Country / setting | Public evidence | What it supports | Boundary |
|---|---|---|---|
| Australia Gateway Health community health |
Gateway Health has implemented a new TrakCare community solution configured for Australian community health services; Gateway Health's annual report also records My Health Record integration with TrakCare, a TrakCare upgrade, and staff training. Gateway Health's CEO later described the project as the successful implementation of a new clinical information system with InterSystems. | Current and customer-side evidence that TrakCare is used in an Australian regional community health service context. | The launch page is vendor-published and the customer-side corroboration is a CEO LinkedIn post, not a formal Gateway Health publication. The annual report confirms TrakCare use but predates the named community-solution launch. |
| Chile Servicio de Salud Metropolitano Sur and El Bosque APS |
Official SSMS material describes TrakCare implementation in the El Bosque APS primary-care network and the SSMS reference/contrareference workflow using the TrakCare Interconsultas module, focused especially on primary-care doctors. Later SSMS network, GES referral, public-account, Hospital El Pino, Barros Luco procurement, San Bernardo municipal-health, and Chile public-procurement material references TrakCare, TrakCare/Rayen, TrakCare-SIDRA, or direct InterSystems Chile software licensing in SSMS APS / referral, hospital clinical-record, or secondary/tertiary electronic clinical-record contexts. | Strong official evidence for TrakCare relevance to Chilean primary-care / APS and referral workflows in SSMS, plus current SSMS-network hospital clinical-record context and direct Chile public-sector InterSystems Chile procurement signals. | Newer sources support continued workflow relevance, adjacent SSMS-network hospital use, and direct supplier context, but do not prove a named current El Bosque APS live state or a Chile-wide APS deployment. The SSMS direct-award signal is currently mirror-derived and still needs official Mercado Publico detail-link validation. |
| Australia Victoria community health |
A historical InterSystems case study says the Victorian Department of Human Services selected TrakCare in community configuration for 22 community health agencies across Victoria. Nexus Primary Health migrated its TrakCare healthcare information system to an InterSystems cloud managed service in 2019. A later Victorian Healthcare Association paper states that the majority of registered community health services in Victoria use TrakCare as a client-management system. | Historical, provider-level, and contemporary sector evidence that TrakCare supports Victorian community-health / primary-health provider services. | The newer source is a sector policy paper / inquiry exhibit rather than a Victorian Government system inventory. Nexus is provider-level evidence but historical unless current Nexus status is found. Use for community-health status, not site-by-site implementation scope. |
| Kuwait DHAMAN primary healthcare centres and outpatient care |
DHAMAN's TrakCare EMR agreement was reported as beginning with primary healthcare centres before extension to additional centres and hospitals, and a later press release says DHAMAN achieved HIMSS O-EMRAM Stage 6 using InterSystems TrakCare in an outpatient-care context. DHAMAN's current corporate site separately describes a network of 15 primary healthcare centers and 3 hospitals. | Moderate evidence for TrakCare in a primary-healthcare-centre and outpatient-care network context, with primary-source support for DHAMAN's current PHC/hospital network scale. | Current DHAMAN site-scope material does not name TrakCare. Use it to bound the network context only, paired with the TrakCare-specific trade and press-release sources. |
| Australia Northern Territory public health |
NT Health states Acacia uses TrakCare software purchased from InterSystems, and the NT Government newsroom describes Acacia as based on InterSystems TrakCare with continuity-of-care value for remote communities and remote clinics. | Public-sector evidence for territory-wide TrakCare-based clinical record infrastructure spanning hospitals and remote/community settings. | Official evidence is strong, but this is not a standalone PHC module claim; use as public-health and remote/community-care adjacent evidence. |
| Qatar primary healthcare clinics |
A 2009 academic paper describes pharmacists in four primary health care clinics in Qatar using TrakCare to document interventions. Current PHCC public sources found in this pass do not support a present TrakCare PHCC claim. | Historical evidence of TrakCare use in Qatar primary-healthcare clinics. | This is old academic evidence only. Current Qatar PHCC claims should not be made unless PHCC, MOPH, or procurement evidence names TrakCare. |
Current Reading
The strongest public PHC/community-health evidence found in these passes is Gateway Health and Nexus Primary Health in Australia, SSMS / El Bosque APS in Chile, Victoria community health, and DHAMAN in Kuwait. Northern Territory Acacia is also important because it shows TrakCare-based public-health infrastructure reaching remote/community settings, but it is not a dedicated primary-care module claim.
General market-ranking signals have been removed from this evidence map because they do not meet the page boundary for PHC/community-health implementation evidence.
Qatar now has an explicit current-status boundary: the 2009 TrakCare paper is historical, and current PHCC public material found in this pass does not support carrying it forward as a live PHCC TrakCare claim.
Remaining Follow-up Evidence
- Find a formal Gateway Health publication or annual-report reference for the 2026 community-solution go-live; the customer-side evidence found so far is the CEO's public LinkedIn corroboration.
- Revalidate named current El Bosque APS live status and complete APS site-by-site scope; current SSMS, Hospital El Pino, Barros Luco, San Bernardo, and procurement sources strengthen SSMS workflow, hospital, and supplier context but still do not close the El Bosque municipal live-status question.
- Validate the official Mercado Publico detail page for the mirror-reported SSMS 2026 direct award to InterSystems Chile before relying on full SSMS contract terms.
- Find a current Nexus Primary Health source if current provider-level status matters; the current Nexus evidence added in this pass is historical 2019 vendor/trade evidence.
- Current Qatar PHCC claims need a current PHCC or Ministry of Public Health source naming TrakCare; current PHCC sources found in this pass do not support the claim.
- For Victoria, find a Victorian Government operational system inventory or provider-level current source if site-by-site scope matters.
- For DHAMAN, find a DHAMAN primary page or implementation record that names TrakCare if making a current live TrakCare scope claim.
